Uninstall from welcome page

I have bought a second hand PC with Windows xp installed on it, but it has not been activated. I do not want to activate xp but i cannot do anything else as this is the only screen available.
How can I uninstall XP from this welcome page / activation page stage? |

Geoff,
To my best recollection, you can't uninstall XP from the activation screen. Have you been using the computer and saving files? If so, you'll probably want to pop the hard drive into another computer, and then backup the files. To remove XP, and install another operating system, boot off of a bootable CD with the other operating system that you want to install which will have a format function to repartition the hard drive (for sure if it is a Microsoft operating system).
