Apache install

I am running XP professional and have installed the newest version of Apache on my machine. Now the only error that i can't figure out is "cannot find the specified file apache2" everything else seems to work fine no other errors besides this. Is there anyone out there that can help me with this directory thing.... plz !!! or someone that has a step by step installation for apache on xp |

I can't really help with your specific question here, but I might recommend you try Apache 1 first. Even though Apache 2 is reported a production release, almost everybody in the world continues to use version 1 still. It's still the most stable and, as of still a month ago, PHP wasn't reported to work well (or at all) on Apache 2.
Downgrading to version 1 might just solve your problems.
