Hi I'm new here. I need to make a web site. I have no clue what I'm doing and need to know where to learn.

Well well,
tekkie it seems like you have landed in the right place ;)
I am sure there are plenty of people here who can help you with your website. However in order to help you better if you would please post some more details of your project?
Like the deadline or the design etc. And maybe some of the key features?
BTW: Welcome to the forums!

tekkie,
I agree with Samuel, this is the place. I have some website design experience with certain programs and I'm sure there are others reading here who have more.
Depending on what size website you are going to do, I would recommend Macromedia Dreamweaver. It's a little pricey, but it is worth EVERY cent. It has about everything even an amateur would want. Here is the link:

Dreamweaver is pretty easy to pick up as well. Macromedia does a supurb job at documenting it's products.
If you have any questions feel free to ask!

I have Dreamweaver.
Have you considered PHP? This language will boost your site content, providing you have a PHP host. |
