PocketPC Programming/Compatibility Questions

Hello,
I am starting to Program PocketPCs, and I have a few questions, about Windows CE in general. Can you run Delphi 6 (compiled from Windows XP) apps (exe's) on Windows CE (on a PocketPC)? If you can't, is there any good software, preferably C++ or Object Pascal, that you would recommend?
I am a newbie in this area, so I would appreciate some help.

Hello,
I just did some more research on this issue, and found that most of the programs (Visual Basic language) are/work with .NET. Borland released a .NET studio in May, so do you know if that would work on PocketPC?
